Around 100 employees from Airbus Atlantic, a subsidiary of Airbus in France, fell ill following a Christmas celebration.
The incident occurred after the company organized Christmas lunch, resulting in a foodborne illness outbreak, as revealed by a spokesperson for the European aeronautics company.

The spokesperson, while not specifying the type of food involved, assured that none of the affected Airbus employees faced severe health issues.
All employees had resumed work by the following Monday.
Airbus Atlantic, a wholly-owned subsidiary specializing in airplane seats, was established in January 2022 and employs 13,000 individuals across five countries.
The unfortunate incident took place in France.
French health authorities have initiated an investigation into the outbreak, aiming to identify the cause of the illness.
The Airbus spokesperson emphasized that the situation appears to be an isolated event, expressing confidence in the ongoing recovery of all affected employees.
“The health of our employees is our top priority, and we are working closely with the ARS health agency to determine the cause of the illness and prevent any recurrence in the future,” added the spokesperson.
