TikTok is a popular social media app that allows users to create and share short videos of themselves dancing, lip-syncing, pranking, or doing other creative things.
But behind the fun and entertainment, there are also some dark and disturbing stories of murder that involve TikTok users. Here are three of them.
Isabella Guzman
Isabella Guzman was a 19-year-old TikTok star who had over 6 million followers on the app.

She was known for her beauty, charisma, and sense of humor.
She lived in Aurora, Colorado with her mother Yun-Mi Hoy, and her stepfather Ryan Hoy.
But on August 28, 2013, Isabella’s life came to a tragic end when she brutally stabbed her mother to death in their bathroom.
According to Ryan Hoy, he heard a commotion upstairs and went to check on his wife and stepdaughter.
He saw Isabella standing over her mother’s body with a knife in her hand.
He tried to stop her, but she ran away.
Ryan Hoy called 911 and tried to save his wife, but it was too late.
Yun-Mi Hoy had been stabbed 79 times in the face, neck, and torso.
She died at the scene.
Isabella Guzman was arrested the next day at a parking lot near her home.
She was charged with first-degree murder and faced life in prison without parole.
But during her trial, she pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
She claimed that she heard voices in her head that told her to kill her mother.
She also said that she believed that her mother was possessed by an evil spirit and that she had to kill her to save the world.
She said that she had been suffering from mental illness for a long time and that she had tried to seek help but no one listened to her.
The jury agreed with her defense and found her not guilty by reason of insanity.
She was sent to a state mental hospital for an indefinite period of time.
She is still there today.
The Murder of Kalecia Williams
Kalecia Williams was a 16-year-old TikTok star who had over 100,000 followers on the app.

She was known for her dancing skills and her positive personality.
She lived in Atlanta, Georgia with her mother April Smith.
But on December 26, 2020, Kalecia’s life came to a tragic end when she was shot to death in a hotel room in downtown Atlanta.
According to April Smith, she had dropped off Kalecia at the hotel with a friend named Janiyah Brooks, who was also 16 years old.
She said that Kalecia had told her that they were going to a birthday party at the hotel and that she would be back soon.
But around 12:30 a.m., April Smith received a phone call from Janiyah Brooks, who told her that Kalecia had been shot.
April Smith rushed to the hotel and found Kalecia lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to the groin.
She was taken to a hospital, where she died.
The police arrested Janiyah Brooks and charged her with felony murder, aggravated assault, reckless conduct, and possession of a firearm by a person under 18.
They said that Janiyah Brooks had shot Kalecia during an argument over a TikTok video.
They also said that Janiyah Brooks had tried to cover up the crime by cleaning up the blood and moving Kalecia’s body.
They said that Janiyah Brooks had lied to them about what happened and that she had shown no remorse for killing her friend.
Janiyah Brooks pleaded not guilty and claimed that the shooting was an accident.
She said that she and Kalecia were playing with a gun that they had found in the hotel room and that it went off by mistake.
She said that she panicked and tried to help Kalecia but it was too late.
She said that she loved Kalecia like a sister and that she was sorry for what happened.
Janiyah Brooks is currently awaiting trial at a juvenile detention center. She faces up to life in prison if convicted.
