The police in Murang’a County made a startling discovery when they found 26 Ethiopian women in an unfinished house in the Gitungano area.
This incident unfolded on a Monday night, prompted by a tip-off received by the local police.
Acting on this information, officers visited the residence of a local named Philip Munyua.
To their astonishment, they found 26 foreign women between the ages of 22 and 32, each carrying their own passports.
A police report stated, “They were unable to explain their intentions or their intended destination due to the language barrier.”
As a result of this discovery, the authorities apprehended Philip Munyua and another individual named David Kang’ori.
During the operation, the police managed to retrieve 26 passports and 16 mobile phones.
Subsequently, the group was escorted to Murang’a Police Station for further investigation, as announced by the police.
