Fortunately, President Joe Biden has tested negative for the virus.
Mrs. Biden, who is 72 years old, is currently experiencing only mild symptoms.
Her office has confirmed that she will be staying at their home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, during her recovery.
It’s worth noting that this is the second time she has tested positive for COVID-19, with her last positive test occurring about a year ago.
President Biden, who is 80 years old, received a COVID-19 test on Monday evening, and thankfully, the result was negative.
The White House has assured the public that he will continue to undergo regular testing and will monitor himself for any symptoms.
It’s important to mention that the United States has been facing an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations in recent weeks.
