Man Killed In Confrontation With Another One In Kiangombe, Nairobi


Police are looking for a suspect who hit and killed a 34-year-old man in a confrontation in Kiangombe area, Nairobi.

Witnesses said they saw the two fight on the roadside on Sunday evening before one George Ndungu was hit in the head with a blunt object.

He was rushed to the Mukuru Health Centre where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The assailant is at large and police said efforts to trace him are ongoing.

It is not clear why they were fighting, police said adding the motive will be known soon.

Meanwhile, in Tharaka Nithi’s Turima location one John Juma, 59 was killed in a fire incident.

Police said locals noticed a semi-permanent house had been razed down by fire at an unknown time.

He stayed alone.

It was then they found the body.

The body was moved to Marimanti Level Four mortuary awaiting postmortem.

The autopsy will tell if the man died out of arson or accident.
