Slain Kitengela police officer Manaseh Ithiru died of excessive bleeding, postmortem on his body showed.
The autopsy was conducted on Friday at the Shallom Hospital mortuary by pathologist Dr.Simon Omuok.
It also revealed Ithiru had excessive bleeding due to blunt force trauma.
Also, the report said, there was a sign of a gunshot wound in the upper side of the right arm.
It is suspected he was shot by the fellow cop in the scuffle.
Present during the exercise were the deceased family members.
The scene was revisited on Friday, and the CCTV footage retrieved to help in the murder probe.
The body was transferred and escorted to Kibugi mortuary in Kirinyaga at the request of the family members.
There was a tragedy at an apartment in Kitengela, Kajiado County when the police officer was killed in a fight with a fellow police officer over a woman.
The incident happened on Thursday August 7 night after constable Ithiru who was attached to Kitengela police station was thrown out of the fourth floor of an apartment he was with a woman believed to be his girlfriend.
Ithiru had earlier at about 7 pmtaken a bodaboda to the house of the woman identified as Irene Wavinya Nzioka on Deliverance Road, police said.
He was ushered in and enjoyed his time with the woman for about three hours before someone knocked the door.
