Police are investigating an incident where a 34-year-old man was found dead in his Buruburu home on Tuesday, raising concerns among family and neighbors.
The deceased, identified as Julius Mutuku Mutua, was discovered by family members at around 1230 hrs. His daughter reportedly alerted her father after finding Julius lifeless inside the house.
Police responded to the scene and found the body lying in a supine position with no physical injuries on the body.
The deceased was subsequently transported to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital pending an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Authorities have appealed to anyone with information regarding the circumstances of the death to come forward to assist in the investigation.
Elsewhere, a male adult was found dead in the Nairobi River near Eastleigh Section 3 on Tuesday, in what authorities suspect was a drowning incident.
The body was transported to the City Mortuary pending postmortem examination and identification.
The public was urged to provide any information that may help identify the deceased and shed light on the circumstances leading to the incident.
And a male adult, estimated to be in his 50s, was found dead along Waiyaki Way near Kinoo on Tuesday afternoon.
The body, reportedly without any visible injuries, was discovered by a local boda boda rider who alerted the authorities.
The body was moved to the mortuary awaiting an autopsy, which is expected to determine the cause of death.
Meanwhile, police are investigating an incident where a motor vehicle belonging to a resident of Kibingo Village was vandalized in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to the owner of the car, unknown suspects gained access to her homestead on the night of March 9, 2026 by breaching the perimeter fence.
The intruders first disabled CCTV cameras installed in the compound before proceeding to the parking area near the main house.
The owner found her vehicle doors wide open and the front bumper damaged.
The vandalized vehicle, a white Toyota Harrier, had its front bumper, front and rear headlights, and side mirrors removed.
The total value of the stolen and damaged items is yet to be established.
Police said they are investigating the incident.
