Tensions persist in Baringo as two additional individuals fell victim to armed bandits in the Yatya area of Baringo North Sub-County on Tuesday evening.
The assailants, armed and dangerous, launched a surprise attack on two middle-aged men near the center, unleashing a hail of gunfire that claimed their lives instantly.
The brutal incident escalated fear in the region, prompting locals to flee amid growing concerns that the armed bandits were taking control of the village.

This tragic event unfolded shortly after another attack by armed bandits that resulted in the death of three family members, including a man, his wife, and their two-year-old child.
The family, en route to a pass-out ceremony in the area, was ambushed and mercilessly sprayed with bullets.
The husband lost his life on the spot, while the wife and child succumbed to their injuries during attempts by locals to rescue them.
The lifeless bodies were later transported to the Baringo County Referral Hospital Mortuary.
