Body Of Man, 40 Retrieved From A River In Kiambu

The body of a 40-year-old man who had been missing in Kiambu was January 28 Saturday morning found in a river.

The man identified as Pius Kamau was last seen on January 25 at Kahata Shopping Centre, locals said.

The body was identified floating on the Thirika River along Kanjata Coffee Estate by locals who informed the police.

The deceased brother Henry Maina Nyoro could identify him and his body before it was.

moved to Kenyatta University Hospital Mortuary awaiting autopsy.

Police said they are yet to know what killed him.

They suspect drowning.

Locals thronged the area as the body was being recovered from the water.
