The body of a primary school teacher who went missing in Nyamira on December 30 was found at a nurse’s house.
Police said Ezekiel Nkeere Gitangwa, 47 was reported missing on December 30 by his wife Gladys Bonareri.
According to police, Gitangwa was dropped by a bodaboda rider at Egesieri village along the Nyamira Miruka Highway on the same day.
The mutilated body was found hidden in a room used for poultry keeping.
The body was covered with a carpet.
Police had to break into the house of the Nyamaiya Health Centre-based nurse to access the body.
But the health worker was not in the house.
A search for a nurse is ongoing.
Police said they are yet to establish the motive of the incident.
Before he met his death, Gitangwa, would sit in his living room, staffroom or in his car and shoot Tikoks with catchy sounds.
