A three-year-old- old boy died Thursday evening after falling from the fifth floor of a house in the Huruma area, Nairobi.
He was rushed to Mama Margaret Kenyatta Hospital and later referred to Kenyatta National Teaching and Referral Hospital where he passed away.
The parents of the boy were not home when the incident happened.
This is the latest such incident to happen in the city amid calls to address the sad trend.

He slipped and fell off landing on his head.
Police said he sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Mama Margaret Kenyatta Hospital for medication but he succumbed.
The bodies were moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and other procedures.
Police termed the incidents tragic and promised investigations into the same.
Such incidents have been on the rise amid calls for contractors to put safety measures for all.
A two-year-old boy was killed in a fire incident in Mowlem area, Nairobi.
The boy was in the house alone when it broke out on November 1 in the evening, police said.
The child was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
Police are investigating the incident that affected one house in the area.
The deceased’s mother was not in the house at the time of the incident.
