Bungoma Pastor Arrested After Human Body Parts Found In Car

Police in Bungoma have detained a self-proclaimed preacher after human body parts were discovered in his vehicle.

Officers from Webuye East reported that the parts were found hidden in a carton by car wash attendants at Masikhu market in Bungoma.

The suspect, identified as Levis Simiyu, is reportedly a pastor at a local church in Ndivisi.

An attendant, while cleaning the car’s trunk, noticed a partly burnt human leg protruding and resting on other body parts.

“The young man abandoned his duty ready to retire early, until the petrol station manager took a gaze at the creepy box,” police said.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) stated that police were summoned to the scene.

“She (the manager) immediately informed the police at Webuye station, who arrived in time before the car owner could drive off.”

The body parts have been transported to Webuye Hospital morgue for further analysis.
