Rose Mkalama has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation.
Concurrently, the Cabinet Secretary for Energy, Davis Chirchir, has confirmed Justus Wabuyabo as the CEO of the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency.
Mkalama, who has been serving as the acting CEO for the past three months, brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
With a diverse educational background, she holds a PhD in Strategic Management, a Masters of Business Administration, a degree in human resource management, and a Masters of Laws in oil and gas.
Additionally, Mkalama is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. Her remarkable 30-year tenure in the public sector underscores her extensive knowledge and expertise.
On the other hand, Justus Wabuyabo, also an advocate of the High Court of Kenya, assumes the position of CEO at the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency.
With over 22 years of professional experience, Wabuyabo has previously served in various capacities, including Director of Legal and Regulatory Services and Corporation Secretary.
