

Police are looking for a forest ranger who shot and injured an attendant at a bar in an altercation in Melelo area, Narok County.
Caren Chepkirui, 28 is admitted to the hospital with a bullet wound in the thigh following the attack.
The two were among those in a bar called Silent Bar within the Kimogoro trading center including the forest ranger based at Chebitet forest camp.
An altercation ensued between the ranger and the attendant before the said ranger left the bar and came back dressed in full uniform while armed with a rifle.
He then shot the bar attendant in her right thigh and fled while shooting aimlessly.
Police visited the scene and recovered three spent cartridges and his mobile phone which he left charging at the counter.
The injured victim was rushed toTenwek Mission hospital for treatment: The suspect was identified as Elias Kipkeu Korir and was armed with a SHE rifle loaded with 30 rounds of 7.62 mm Special.
