Police are investigating an incident in which a night guard was found murdered at his place of work in the Kamulu area, Nairobi.
The incident happened at Crystal Lounge Bar within Acacia area where the body of one Micah Namicaso 22 was found in a pool of blood.
The guard was on duty at the premises when he was attacked Saturday night, police said.
Police said the deceased was found with five deep cuts on the head, having been murdered during the night.
The motive of the incident is yet to be established, as nothing was stolen from him or at his place of work.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.
Nairobi police boss Adamson Bungei said no arrest has been made so far.
In Kikuyu Muguku area, the body of one Jackson Kinyanju Ngige was found lying dead on his bed in his house.
Police are investigating the incident.
In Tigania, Meru, the body of Georgina Lejason Lekinasia, 51 was found lying lifeless on her bed with blood oozing from her mouth and nose.
The woman had earlier complained of a boil on her right leg.
The cause of the death is yet to be known. The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy.
Elsewhere in Subukia, Nakuru, a 15-year-old and pupil at Oldonyo Mara primary school murdered his friend aged 24 by hitting his head several times with an axe and slasher.
The two had spent the night together in the boy’s room.
The murder weapons were recovered at the scene as the suspect was arrested pending a probe on the motive, police said.
