National Political Engagements
In 1997, Isaac Ruto entered national politics, securing a seat as the Member of Parliament for Chepalungu constituency. Over the years, he served in various ministerial roles, including Assistant Minister to the Ministry of Education (1998, 1999) and Minister of Environment and Natural Resources (2001).
