Kenyatta University to Admit 11,244 First-Year Students in 2026 KUCCPS Placement

Kenyatta University will admit 11,244 first-year students through the 2026 Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), making it the most preferred public university in this year’s placement exercise.

In a message to the incoming class, Vice Chancellor Prof. John Okumu congratulated the students and encouraged them to embrace academic excellence, integrity, diversity and innovation as they embark on their university journey. He said their admission marks the beginning of a transformative chapter centred on learning, leadership and personal development.

Prof. Okumu reaffirmed the university’s commitment to delivering quality higher education and equipping students with the knowledge and skills needed to become future leaders.

The latest KUCCPS placement figures show Kenyatta University received the highest number of degree placements nationwide, followed by several other public universities.
