The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has issued a 90-day eviction notice to 68 people accused of illegally occupying its land in Jomvu, Mombasa County.
In a public notice dated Tuesday, October 27, the electricity distributor directed the occupants to vacate the property within three months or face eviction.
KPLC identified the disputed property as Land Reference Number JOMVU MN/V/222/2, stating that the individuals had occupied it without lawful authority, a licence or any other legal entitlement.
