A 46-year-old man was found dead after falling from the fourth floor of an apartment in the Huruma area, Nairobi.
The body of Kimathi Ileli was Sunday, June 11 found on the first floor of the apartment after the fatal fall, police said.
He is believed to have either been pushed down there or slipped accidentally.
Police said they are probing all theories in the incident.
The deceased son told police he was called by the caretaker of plot one who informed him that his dad was lying on the first floor of the house where he stays.
He rushed there and called an ambulance.
The man was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police visited the scene and established that the deceased fell on the first floor from the fourth floor and sustained injuries on the back of the head which might have caused his death.
A postmortem is planned on the body, police said even as the probe continues.
Meanwhile, one Isaac Mirugi Kimondo aged 58 died by suicide after hanging himself on a macadamia tree in Tetu, Nyeri county.
His body was found hanging on a macadamia tree with wire tied around the neck. No suicide note was recovered and the case is pending under probe.
The incident happened on June 10, police said.
Cases of suicide are on the rise amid calls to address the trend.
