A 21-year-old man was rushed to hospital after surviving a crocodile attack in Kathonzweni, Makueni County.
Police said Patrick Munyao was attacked in the Kitise area as he fetched water from Rive Athi within Mwania village.
He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Kitise Health Center for first aid and later referred to Makueni Referral Hospital for specialized treatment while in fair condition.

He was rescued by locals with injuries in the legs and rushed to hospital.
This was after he screamed for help after the January 9 incident.
Kenya Wildlife Service officials were called to the scene to search for the crocodile in vain.
The reptiles have increased in numbers after rains were experienced in the area.
