The body of a 41 year old man was found hanging on a roof in Motherland slum, Buruburu, Nairobi in a suspected suicide incident.
Kennedy Alwanga had been missing for two days before his body was found in the house.
His wife said she had come home from work on Monday and found the door locked from inside.
She knocked but there was no response, which prompted her to leave and spend the night at her sister’s house near the same area.

She told police the deceased’s mobile phone had been switched off at the time and it was not unusual.
Come Monday she went back home and still found the door locked which prompted her to ask her neighbours to break in and check.
It was then they found the body hanging on a roof with a rope tied on his neck.
Police were called to the scene and took the body to the mortuary pending autopsy.
Meanwhile, the body of a man was found hanging on a tree in Jamhuri area in a suspected suicide.
Locals said they were headed to the area to pray when they found the body.
Police were called and removed the body that was hanging on a rope.
The man is suspected to have committed suicide on unknown date.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending probe.
