A 20-year-old man was admitted to hospital after he fell off the fourth floor of a hotel in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
Abdullahi Ali Osman had been at the Sakina Hotel on Thursday, February 2 in the afternoon and complained it was too hot for him.
According to his cousin Bushra Mohamed, Osman decided to sit at the window of the hotel to get fresh air.
As he engaged the other friends and family members present in a conversation, he slipped off the window and fell to the ground floor of the structure.
Pedestrians were shocked to see him land in a thud and later helped to rush him to the Labila Hospital in stable condition with no physical injuries.
Doctors who attended to him said he had serious internal injuries and was in the hospital in stable condition.
Police are investigating the incident.
Elsewhere in Mandera, a man was arrested after he attacked and killed another one in Musdalifa Soko Mboga within the Township location.
The suspect attacked two brothers using a knife killing Hashim Ukash Mohammed, 33 and injuring Abdimalik Ukash Mohammed, 26.
The suspect identified as Hallow Maalim Nur was arrested to help in the investigation.
