A 61-year-old man surrendered to police in Kisii after confessing he killed his stepson on Sunday night.
The incident happened in the Igonga area of Bonchari, Kisii county.
Police said Sebastian Matundura arrived at the station around 11 a.m. on Monday, January 9, and confessed to killing his stepson.
Gesonso OCPD Charles Machinji said the suspect claimed he fought his son on Sunday night, and when the fight became physical, he struck the deceased on the head with a jembe before stabbing him.
The deceased is aged 30 and investigations into the incident are ongoing, police said.
