Mudavadi Participates in Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Uganda as Ruto Prepares to Attend
The Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, is currently present at the 19th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit, which commenced on Monday in Uganda.
The summit, operating under the theme ‘Deepening Cooperation for Shared Global Affluence,’ offers Member States a unique opportunity to assess significant global developments.

Held every few years, the NAM summit takes place in different continents, with the last gathering held in Baku, Azerbaijan, focusing on upholding the Bandung Principles for a collective and effective response to contemporary challenges.
This five-day summit is the second-largest assembly of states globally, following the United Nations, boasting 120 member states, 18 observer nations, and 10 organizations.
President William Ruto is slated to join the summit at the Heads of State and government level on Friday.
