A senior officer with National Youth Service (NYS) officer and his brother surrendered to Emurua Dikiir police station, Transmara East sub-county in Narok in a love triangle saga.
This is after they allegedly killed a man who strayed into their home at 3 am.
Officials said the two brothers allegedly ganged up and murdered the man who was allegedly in a relationship with the wife of the NYS man.
This is after he went and knocked at the door of the officer thinking he was away as usual.
The officer ushered the man inside and beat him up before alerting his brother, who came and teamed up and killed him, police said.
The deceased was stabbed to death after he refused to identify himself and the reason why he decided to intrude on the homestead at night.
During the melee, the wife of the NYS man vanished into thin air and is currently being sought by police to give more information on the matter.
Police say they are interrogating the two for more information.
The deceased’s body was moved to the Kapkatet hospital mortuary.
