Police officers in Embakasi, Nairobi County, on Friday, December 2, recovered several ammunitions and assorted military gear as in an operation.
Police said the assorted items were found in an apartment by officers who were acting on a tip-off from members of the public.
Among the items recovered include 25 rounds of ammunition, military fatigue- jungle uniforms, bags, boots, helmets, military campuses, career bags, and military ID cards among others.
In Machakos County, NPS reported that 14 robbery suspects were arrested on the same day while in possession of crude weapons, drugs and mobile phones.
The two arrests follow heightened security around the country to crack down on muggers and curb insecurity.
Police have heightened operations in the country to tame crime at large.
