Last night in Kisumu, there was a scary incident involving a policeman shooting a security guard during an argument.
This policeman, who usually drives for the Kisumu County Commissioner, got into a fight with some night guards near the K City business center.
Things got out of hand, and he ended up shooting one of the guards.
“After the shooting, a crowd got really mad and started attacking the policeman,” said Kisumu Central Sub County Police Commander Peter Mulai.
The poor guard who got shot was rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital, where he’s now being treated.
Thankfully, the bullet hit him in the buttocks, and doctors are taking care of him.

Mulai assured everyone that they were investigating the whole situation.
“Once the policeman is out of the hospital, we’ll take the necessary action against him,” he said.
Right now, the policeman is also in the hospital, getting treated for his injuries from the angry crowd.
It’s a pretty scary situation, but hopefully, things will get sorted out soon.
