Probe launched as disabled child dies at city daycare

Mystery surrounds circumstances under which a 14 year old child died at a day care she had been left in Nairobi.
The mother of the child told police she took her to the daycare in Huruma area and left her with managers there on Wednesday morning.
The child was disabled and had cerebral palsy, the mother told police.
She said when she went to pick the child later in the day, she was informed she was dead.
The mother added the child did not have any difficulties when she took her there and wants the case be investigated.
Police arrived at the scene and picked up the body to the mortuary pending autopsy and further investigations.
