At least six people were Friday rushed to the Keroka Sub County Hospital after a vehicle they were traveling in got involved in an accident along the Kisii-Kericho highway.
Police said a public service vehicle rammed into a bus in the Ribwago area between Kisii and Keroka.
The bus was headed to Kisii while the matatu was going in the opposite direction.
This caused the accident, Keroka deputy traffic commander Fred Obadiah said.
“The injured passengers were rushed to Keroka Sub County hospital. Six of them got injured,” said Obadiah.
He added the injured were in stable condition and that they are investigating the incident.
“We are working closely with the Kenya National Highways Authority (KENHA), to ensure traffic rules and regulations are adhered to,” he said.
