A mob attacked and killed a man they accused of stock theft in Moyale, Marsabit County.
The body of Hassan Diba Sakuye, 45 was found in the Malkadoke Dam area along Moyale-Badan road within the Bothotha location.
Police said he was a resident of nearby Dabel and the body had multiple injuries on the head and neck, as a result of being cut by a sharp object.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending investigation and autopsy.
In Muranga’s Kirogo sub-location, a female body was discovered on River Mukungai.
Police later identified her as Nelius Wanjira Gikonyo, 38.
The body had three knife stab wounds on the chest, shoulder, and back, with visible marks on the neck.
The motive of the murder is yet to be known.
The body was moved to the mortuary.
