Tanzanian DCI in Kenya, Meets Amin For Talks On Regional Crime

The Director of Criminal Investigations Mohamed Amin and the Tanzanian DCI Ramadhan Kingai, who paid him a courtesy call at his Mazingira Complex offices.

The Director of Criminal Investigations Mohamed Amin, Thursday held a meeting with the Tanzanian DCI Ramadhan Kingai, who paid him a courtesy call at his Mazingira Complex offices.

During the meeting, the two discussed how best the agencies they head can collaborate on areas of mutual interest, including how to combat transnational organized crimes affecting the two countries and the East African region.

Both the Director and his Tanzanian counterpart committed to strengthening the existing ties between the two investigative agencies, particularly in the fight against terrorism and violent extremism, capacity development and information sharing to combat cross-border crimes.
