Taylor Hawkins is an American musician, songwriter, and drummer who is best known for his work with the rock band Foo Fighters. He was born on February 17, 1972, in Fort Worth, Texas, and grew up in Laguna Beach, California.
Hawkins started playing drums at a young age and was heavily influenced by classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Queen, and The Who.

He began his professional music career in the mid-1990s, playing drums for the band Sylvia and later as a touring drummer for Alanis Morissette.
