An armed gang of six that was in police uniforms stormed a petrol station in Isiolo Town and robbed staff of Sh300,000.
Police said they are investigating the June 12 incident where the six men, one armed with a G3 rifle went to the petrol station at about 2 am and ordered staff present to lie down.
They then grabbed the cashbox that had the money and fled on waiting motorbikes.
No arrest or recovery has been made so far, police said.
This is the latest such incident to happen in a week.
Similar ones were reported in Nyamira and Changamwe in Mombasa where victims were robbed of money.
No arrests so far.
In Maralal’s Soko Mjinga two thugs, one armed with an AK 47 rifle entered a shop and assaulted a woman before robbing her of Sh100,000.
The suspect with his accomplices then shot into the air and escaped on a motorbike in the June 12 night incident.
No arrest has been made.
