A two-month-old infant was burnt to death in a fire incident in a village in Wajir County.
Police said the incident happened in the Qot Qot Sub location at a makeshift shelter.
The child’s elder siblings managed to escape the Wednesday evening incident.
The cause of the fire was not immediately established, police said.
The children were sheltering therein when the fire broke out burning down property.
The body was later handed over to the family for burial.
Elsewhere in Ndhiwa, Homabay, a 17-year-old boy died by suicide in an incident.
His body was found dangling from a blue gum tree with a rope around his neck.
The victim is said to have been battling mental illness.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending other procedures.
