Kennedy Odhiambo commenced his academic journey at Sacred Heart Primary School in Baba Dogo before advancing to Ringa Boys High School in Homa Bay County. Currently in his third year pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Sciences at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Crazy Kennar balances his academic pursuits with a thriving career in content creation.
Crazy Kennar Early Beginnings
Crazy Kennar’s foray into acting began in Class Three, but it was in Class Seven that he clinched the best actor award in Nairobi County during the 2011 Kenya National Music and Drama Festivals. His comedic talent blossomed in high school under the guidance of his teacher, Mr. Andal. Reflecting on this pivotal moment, Kennar shared, “I picked up comedy while doing narratives in high school… I realized I had a special gift of creating content.”

Teaming up with Stanley Omondi, a schoolmate now part of Tales of Crazy Kennar, they honed their skills and embarked on creating content that resonated with audiences. The decision to venture into comedy took full shape during his time at JKUAT.

As the CEO of The Crazy Kennar Company, he leads a talented team comprising Yvonne Khisa, Bushra Sakshi, Stanley Omondi, Cynthia Wanjiru (Shee), and Stephen Miser (Useful Idiot). The group monetizes its content by collaborating with brands, offering tailored packages to clients based on their requirements.
Stand Up Against Depression
Driven by a sense of responsibility to their fans, Kennar initiated the “Stand Up Against Depression” campaign after a fan who attended their Live Vine Show tragically succumbed to depression. This initiative provides a safe space for fans to share their stories, fostering a supportive online community.
YouTube Success and Recognition
The Tales of Kennar YouTube channel boasts an impressive 333K subscribers and over 65 million views. Their parody video featuring Ethic, Sailors, Boondocks, Delo, and Zzero in one class garnered over 1.3 million views, showcasing the team’s comedic prowess and widespread appeal.
