In Mbooni East, Makueni County, police have detained a 32-year-old woman suspected of fatally assaulting her 82-year-old husband.
Assistant Chief Albanus Mutula reported that the couple’s dispute escalated over sh.3,000, with the deceased accusing his wife of theft.
Allegedly, Syombua Musau resorted to stoning her husband, resulting in his immediate death.
Currently held at the Mbumbuni Police Station, the woman awaits arraignment as investigations proceed.
The deceased’s body has been transported to the Tawa morgue for post-mortem examination.
