Four men are in custody over the killing of a 21-year-old man on Saturday night in a fight over a woman in Muhoroni, Kisumu County.
The men were arrested on Christmas Day following investigations into the incident where the deceased was hacked severally on his elbow, right thigh, buttocks, and right ear and his right hand was chopped off before the body was dumped along Tamu Muhoroni road.
Police said the deceased was in the company of the suspects when a brawl broke out over a woman.
The deceased was reportedly later trailed on his way home after the 10 pm incident, attacked and died on the spot.
The suspects were detained at the Chemelil Police Station as the police pursue the matter.
Police said they are looking for more suspects over the indent and they will face charges on Wednesday, December 28.
