President Ruto Denounces Attack Resulting In Magistrate Monica Kivuti’s Death

President William Ruto has strongly denounced the attack that resulted in the death of Principal Magistrate Monica Kivuti of the Makadara Law Courts.

He termed her tragic demise as “unacceptable” and emphasized that such incidents should never occur again.

“The confrontation, threats, or attacks of any form against judicial officers are unacceptable, criminal, and an affront to the rule of law,” he stated.

President Ruto reassured judicial officers of their security as they performed their duties, emphasizing the critical role of the police in providing reliable protection for all Kenyans.

He urged law enforcement officers to remain committed to their oath of service, stressing that under no circumstances should they forsake their primary duty of safeguarding the public.

“Under no circumstances should they abandon this essential obligation or ever turn from their duty of protection and become threats to the safety and security of the people,” he added.

In his condolence message, President Ruto highlighted that the nation had lost a diligent and dedicated judicial professional who served with great commitment.

He expressed his sympathies, saying, “May the Almighty God grant you strength to bear this loss.”
