The body of Felix Okoth Omamo, 27 was found in a pool of blood in the area after a murder incident.
Police who visited the scene said he had stab wounds in the chest and head after the Tuesday morning attack.
Locals said they heard a commotion outside before silence followed. It was then they found Omamo in a pool of blood and there was nothing that was stolen from him.
Police said they are investigating the motive of the attack and that no arrest had been made so far.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending autopsy and probe.
Elsewhere, a woman died after a wall pot that fell from the sixth floor of a building hit him on the head in Eastleigh, Nairobi.
The deceased identified as Josephine Anyango was walking outside Filsan Towers along Muratina Road when the pot hit her head.
She was rushed to Al-Amin Hospital in the area on Tuesday evening where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Doctors at the facility said she had been hit and seriously wounded in the head.
Police later visited the building and the house where the pot originated as part of the probe into the tragedy.
