Kenya and Ethiopia Monday November 14 signed an agreement to work together to prevent terrorism, human trafficking and organized crime. The agreement was signed by the Ethiopian Director General of National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS), Temesgen Tiruneh, and a representative of the Director General of Kenya’s National Intelligence Service (NIS) Major General Philip Kameru. The Inspector General of Police Japhet Koome has approved the training of 1,048 Graduate Police Constables to undertake Special Subordinate Officer to Inspectorate (S/SOIP) at Kiganjo (600 officers), Administration Police Training College (228 officers) and the General Service Unit (GSU) Training College (220 officers).
