Police are investigating claims a bouncer assaulted a reveler at a club in Garissa leading to his death.
The bouncer was detained after Stephen Muya, 25 succumbed to injuries he sustained during a confrontation at Club 3D within Garissa Township.
The deceased had boarded a room in the same club at the time of the incident.
Witnesses said the deceased was assaulted by the bouncer using a stick.
He was taken to Garissa Referral Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police say they are investigating the incident.
