Police are investigating an incident in which a 17-year-old boy was stabbed and seriously wounded by his friend after a disagreement as they played football in the Mwiki area, Nairobi.
The boy was rushed to the hospital with serious stab wounds in the throat by an assailant identified as Kelvin Sasi aged 17 who fled the scene.
The two had been playing football at a local estate on Sunday when they disagreed.
They broke for the day.
Come Monday, February 6, the assailant trailed the victim to his residence where he stabbed him in the throat and both legs.
He was rushed to Uzima Uhai hospital where he was admitted in stable condition.
Police said they are investigating the incident.
No arrest has been made so far.
