The National Assembly Justice and Legal Affairs Committee has recommended setting of Tribunal to try the four IEBC Commissioners.
This is over alleged gross misconduct during the August 9 elections.
The Committee also recommended that President William Ruto suspends the four commissioners who differed with their chairman Wafula Chebukati on the outcome of the presidential elections.
The four are Vice Chairperson Juliana Cherera, Justus Nyang’aya, Francis Wanderi and Irine Masit.
“The committee recommends that the President suspend the four Commissioners herein pending the Tribunal verdict,” chairman George Gitonga said.
Gitonga tabled the report on Thursday morning set stage for robust debate this afternoon before the House.
