Police are looking for a man who stabbed his cousin in a quarrel during a family meeting in Limuru, Kiambu County.
Witnesses and police said Eric Mwangi, 22 died in the hospital following a stab wound in the rib.
Mwangi was among family members meeting in their house in Kamirithu village when a brawl broke out.
This follows a disagreement over the property there.
Police said they are looking for Clement Kungu who is a cousin to the deceased for grilling over the incident.
The assailant is said to have picked a kitchen knife to stab the deceased.
The body was moved to a local mortuary after the Saturday night incident pending autopsy and further probe.
In Lodwar, police said they were investigating an incident in which a 28 –year- old woman was killed by his friend in a fight.
The deceased Christine Lotokot was hit with a stone in the head and died instantly.
The motive of the incident is yet to be known.
Police said they arrested the suspect behind the incident and were expected in court on Monday.
