Police in Nyamira have launched an investigation into an incident where a form three student was electrocuted at Gesema in Masaba North.
Samuel Rioba, 17, was electrocuted Thursday at home on half term break.
Rioba was a student at Nyakongo Boys High School.
He was electrocuted at 6:30 while hanging clothes on a line attached to a power cable.
His family rushed him to a hospital in Keroka but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body was taken to Keroka hospital mortuary pending a postmortem.
