Police are looking for a gang that shot and injured a man in a robbery at Membley estate, Nairobi.
Arnold Hawi Chore 29, an employee at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital said he was at a local bus stop on Sunday night when he was accosted by men on a motorcycle.
The gang shot him in the right thigh and the bullet exited before hitting him in the left thigh.
The gang rode off soon after the shooting without stealing anything from the victim.
Police said they do not know what the motivation of the incident was.
The victim was rushed to his place of work where he was admitted in stable condition.
The police who visited him said they recovered a spent cartridge at the scene. The cartridge has since been sent to the ballistic experts for testing and analysis.
Meanwhile, the hunt for the gunmen is ongoing. Police say they don’t know if he was targeted or if it was a normal robbery.
