Early Life and Passion for the Arts
Hailing from Bungoma County, Lusaka’s early years were rooted in his local community. His education began at Kamukuywa Primary School, and later, he pursued his O and A levels at Kibabii High School, Chesamisi High School, and Friends School Kamusinga.
Lusaka’s childhood dreams included a passion for the arts, particularly acting. He was an active member of a traveling theatre group, playing significant roles in renowned works such as “Betrayal in the City,” “Merchant of Venice,” and “The Burdens.” Although his career path eventually led him into politics, Lusaka maintains a deep appreciation for the arts.

Despite a setback in the 2017 elections where he lost his bid for a second term as governor, Lusaka’s fortunes took a turn when he received a call from the president.
