Kindiki Breaks Silence On Chaos Witnessed In Country

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki who had been missing from action has spoken following Monday’s chaos witnessed in the country.

He was missing from an earlier meeting held between police commanders and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua said there is a need to stop the chaos being witnessed.

Only police commanders led by Inspector General of police Japhet Koome and interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo attended the Sunday evening meeting at Harambee House Annex.

Kindiki was missing and many see it as a sign he was not a party to whatever was discussed.

It is claimed the meeting planned among others non police action on plans to invade the Ruiru farm belonging to former president Uhuru Kenyatta and business belonging to Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

Kindiki spoke of the chaos and called for the stoppage of the anarchy.

“We must protect our Country from sliding into irretrievable anarchy,” he said in social media posts.

His remarks come after the Opposition and police engaged in running battles as business came to a standstill in Nairobi among other parts of the country.

There have been protests with leaders calling on the government to lower the cost of living.

Monday’s protests were the second since Raila announced weekly demos.

Goons raided the farm belonging to Uhuru and stole sheep and goats before setting it on fire.
