Kivutha Kibwana Praised Gen Zs As Worthy Heirs Of Dedan Kimathi.

Former Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana is hopeful about Kenya’s future after President William Ruto fired the entire cabinet amid pressure from Gen Zs.

On his X account, Kibwana praised the decision, saying it shows people want more accountability and good governance.

Kibwana said, “New Kenya, nothing less! A land where citizens and the constitution are sovereign under God. Gen Zs, you sting like bees. You are heirs of Dedan Kimathi, whom you will bury in dignity.”

His message resonated with young people who want change and better economic opportunities.

By mentioning Dedan Kimathi, a hero in Kenya’s independence, Kibwana showed how important this moment is and told young people to keep fighting for a fair and successful country.

Kibwana also talked about the “Third (Economic) Liberation,” which shows many Kenyans think economic changes are needed for the country to grow.

Ubuntu, which means working together and caring for others, also matters to people who want Kenya to be fair and equal.

“Thank you. We can smell the Third (Economic) Liberation and Ubuntu,” Kibwana said.

President Ruto said Principal Secretaries will run ministries until he picks new people.

He promised more changes to make the government work better, which might mean more people lose their jobs.

The changes came after Gen Zs said the government failed and needed new leaders. They started by fighting the Finance Bill 2024 and then said Ruto should leave.

Many young people joined protests, but these turned bad when police fought back. More than 40 people died, and over 300 got hurt.

People in Kenya and around the world are sad about how police treated the protesters.

This is a big moment in Kenya’s politics. People want leaders to be fair and change how things work so everyone can have a better life.
