The rider told police he had picked up a pillion passenger who asked to be dropped off at the Garden City area.
On reaching Kasarani’s open grounds, the passenger asked the rider to stop to enable him to relieve himself.
According to the rider, it was then that the passenger drew a pistol and threatened to harm him as he ordered him off the motorcycle while surrendering.
The suspect later took control of the motorcycle and rode off to an unknown destination in the Monday, April 10 night incident.
Police say they are investigating the incident as part of efforts to get the gunman.
